I feel that it was an enriching experience to be part of Kizora's summer internship program as I have gained a lot of technical knowledge and learn valuable insights .The internship started with one month training and after that they have assigned me with different tasks of the client project .The mentors are really helpful and guided me as and when required. I joined Kizora as an intern for six months. At the initial stage of the training, I learned the basics of various technologies, which would be of great help in the future. It was an amazing experience to explore different technologies. The one thing which I loved the most about the company was the work environment here. The weekly catch-up calls filled with various games and fun really helped to bond with each other.
It has been almost six months that I'm working at Kizora. The work culture and ethics here each have given me a direction of how I was going to mould my career. The experience here was really great. We got to learn a lot of new things some of which we have even never heard of before. CEO and the staff of the company were also approachable and friendly to us for any kind of help. Nagpur was a new city for me but the CEO of the company made all the arrangements. There was a time when I never thought of working from the home and then we entered the pandemic era where we got no other option but to work from home. I got terrified by the WFH facility as it disconnects and isolates us from coworkers but due to lack of disturbances and flexible working hours, efficiency got improved. People often think that remote working is all about sitting at home eating snacks, watching TV, and not actually doing much work. But I’ve found that rather than underworking, one of the major challenges of working remotely is not overworking. Whether it’s putting in a few extra hours to get something over the line, or checking your email before bed and accidentally spending 30 minutes writing a response that definitely could have waited until the morning, before you know it, you’ve spent most of your day on work, and haven’t properly managed to switch off and unwind.
In a post-pandemic world, most companies are considering remote work culture as a permanent option. The employees can save significant travel time while the organizations can cut down on expensive real-estate costs. If the activities are well-coordinated, it can be a win-win for both parties. In a nutshell, team-building activities are essential to building a stable remote workforce. By creating a fun and collaborative virtual environment where transparent communications are encouraged, one can help the team thrive and perform efficiently, even when they’re working virtually.
